Sharyn my daughter, was a very caring and loving person to her brothers and sister. She was taken from us far too soon by a brain tumour at 53 years on 13 March 2013.
Sharon served the community in the Victorian Police Force for 25 years. She became a leading Senior Constable. Prior to her passing in 2013, Sharon was presented with her Police Medals recognising her years of service, by the Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, Ken Lay.
Sharyn was not only well respected but loved by all who knew her. She had a very engaging personality.
The family was deeply shocked by her diagnosis, so suddenly, at the relatively young age of 53. We, her family, all cared and nursed her, until she passed away 6 months later.
Sharyn was loved and adored.
We are so grateful to her police family who visited her every day for 6 months.
Sharyn is missed.
