Melissa Johnson - Bathurst Living Legend for her work for the brain tumour community.

About BTAA's Goodwill Ambassador | Melissa

Melissa Johnson of Bathurst has been living with a brain tumour for over 10 years. Her grade of tumour has increased over time and the effect of the treatments have taken a toll on her and her family. She has dedicated herself to raising awareness about the impact of brain tumours on families like hers. And she has supported and organised fund raising events for BTAA and for Brainstorm at RPA as well as other good causes. She was recogised as BTAA's first Adult Goodwill Ambassador in 2015.

This Saturday 28 May 2016 she is organising her 3rd fundraiser " Mel Goes Grey in May" for BTAA and Brainstorm at RPA. She is well supported by the Bathurst Community (and is a Bathurst Living Legend), the Bathurst Panthers, her family and friends. Dr Brindha Shivalingham will be speaking at the dinner. Our Mel - she is pretty excited and fully hands on, despite the side effects of years of dex. and other treatments. She says she is a perfectionist and is now busy sorting out who sits where and when.

BTAA needs the support of people like Mel to enable us to provided the services and support for those living with brain tumours.

We hope Mel has a fantastic night. Print off your own Sunflower Logo here.

Donate to Mel Goes Grey in May  here - you can even join her team and set up your own page.

Thanks Mel.
