A temporary pause of the BTAA Helpline Support Service

The Australian Brain Cancer Landscape 2025

The BTAA Helpline service to callers requesting support for brain tumours and related neurological issues will be temporarily paused for a period of review and reassessment.

While we are unable to take your call during this period, we wish to redirect your concerns or questions to a dedicated and appropriately resourced agency able to provide advice and support for your situation.

Cancer Council Australia: Offers a Cancer Connect service on 13 11 20 for information, support and help finding cancer-related services.

National Advocacy Service with Peace of Mind Foundation providing support, advice and help navigating the NDIS and Centrelink,  phone 0456 608 484

Lifeline: Call 13 11 14 for 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention.

For further information about support service organisations across Australia, please check this page. There are also many useful references about living with brain tumours, clinical trials and videoed patient forums on this site.

We will make a further announcement about the future of the Helpline support service following the review process.
